An accomplished communicator and educator, having taught and coordinated at the highest levels in international university environments, developing programs, managing complex projects, and leading academic initiatives across cultures and disciplines, with over 14 years of experience.
Alongside an academic career, I have delivered Professional Transformational Coaching for private and business clients seeking direction, purpose, and progress in their lives and work.
My professional journey began in an unexpected place, the building industry in London, where I became one of the first women to project manage in this traditionally male-dominated sector.
The precision, and resilience developed in that environment continue to shape my work today.
From there, my path expanded into higher education and international development, including European-funded projects that enriched my global perspective and honed my intercultural expertise.
In my experience, transformation happens in spaces: at a physical, emotional, and relational level.
The Client Focussed transformational coaching draws from both the “hard” (infrastructure, systems, space) and the “soft” (emotion, relationship, communication and intuition) to support: individuals, families, and organizations grow with clarity, connection, and purpose to client’s need.
I listen beyond what is said, identifying patterns and possibilities others may miss.
Guidance is compassionate yet structured, step by step, always moving toward authentic outcomes.
Fluent in English and Dutch, I work across borders, sectors, and generations.

Personal Life
I, Anny Langan, was born in Greenock in the west of Scotland with an Irish Celtic background. I also lived and worked in UK and Canada.
Born in the working family in the shipyards of Western Scotland. My father was upwardly rising creative and jazz musician and was the Bandleader of an 18 piece Big Band in Greenock. Great memories of this.
Also lived with a wonderful Granny and went to school in Ireland.
We later moved to Central London. My mother was successful in financial work and property in London with always a strong connection to Ireland, throughout my childhood.
Greetings from me now from Amsterdam, The Netherlands, where I am based, happily married to a Dutchman for 30 years, with 2 children, and now also Ireland where we are very lucky to have a home and Irish family, and a regular connection to France and other destinations. Also currently a member of the Irish Netherlands Business Association (INBA).
I was, for 14 years, also honoured to be a Senior Lecturer, Mentor and Coordinator to thousands of Dutch and International Students and New Entrepeneurs at the AMSIB International Business School (English speaking part of Hva), University of Applied Sciences in Amsterdam. It was hard work and a great honour.

Alongside this work, I saw, first with friends and colleagues, then with private and business clients, individual and business clients. It gave me practical skills alongside academia.
I still work as a Professional Coach, Space and Feng Shui Consultant, and on Community Events and projects, in between enjoying travel and family.
My life so far has been truly worthwhile, full and adventurous, and also deeply spiritual (Christian background with life long immersion and integration with meditation). Of course, in between, like all of us, there are the normal daily human, family, and business challenges that we all experience!
P.S. I am also writing a lot these days, both fiction (detectives mainly) and non fiction (Personal Development).
